JTCS-EF Will not run

I have had JTCS installed for some time and am up todate with patches. Went to Game Depot and download and installed all of the EFII scenarios stored there. Loaded about half of them, launced the game and EF ran fine from the JTCS menu screen. Loaded the remainder and I go to the JTCS game menu. click East Front, goes to run scenario with the single player, hotseat, etc., click run scenario and get an error message saying that EF.exe has encountered a problem and will close. Click the link for the error details and get a box showing:

AppName: east front exe.
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180
AppVer:0.0.0.0.
Offset: 00001010
ModName: ntdll.dll

Ef will run from directory on my hd by clicking ef with the red star icon which takes you to a box with all scenarios listed by file name.

WF and RS run fine from the JTCS game menu.

I am assuming a scenario, which I downloaded, screwed up something.

Would apprciate help or suggestions.

Best thing to do would be remove the files you have installed, download and install the 1.02 update and the 1.02B TEMPORARY Patch and then add them again, 5 scenarios at a time, double checking to see if the program still fuctions as it should.

Typically scenarios consist of 4 files of the same name:

Hausser.bmp
Hausser.org
Hausser.map
Hausser.scn

Thank you Jason. I did that and found an "offending" scenario which, once removed allows me to enter into the scenario screen and play the game. However, I cannot play a Campaign.

As above, I enter EF from the JTCS menu, click on 'Campaign' and get an error message simialr to the above referenced:

AppName: east front exe.
AppVer:0.0.0.0.
Offset: 00009903
ModName: East front exe.

I did not load any 'homegrown' campaigns. All campaigns came from the install. I uninstalled and reloaded, as you instructed, and then tried each of a bazillion scenarios; one at a time. Scenario phase now works. Campaign won't.

Hmm. You might want to reinstall the update and temporary patch, this will replace the exe files and hopefully remedy your problem.

Did that once on the scenario issue. Did that agin on the Campaign issue. Campaign option will not run.

Sounds like you are going to have to reinstall.
