I noticed too you wrote an article about the Burma Campaign.  I printed that as well.  I read a book called:  The Longest War:  Burma 1941-45.  I don't recall the author's name, but he was British, and the thing that I remember best about the book was how much the author must have loved his subject matter.  He certainly was thorough from the British, Japanese, and Burmese sides.  What struck me too was his humane treatment of the Japanese.
