Some 2.1 Comments

Post by bbmike »

Overall, 2.1 is a great improvement. Thanks again!
Some things I have noticed (so far):

I had one play where the computer offense threw a pass to a wide open player near the sideline. He could have run in for a TD but ran out to the sideline instead when there was no reason to.

I love the new (for me anyway!) crowd noise, but it would be nice to adjust volume levels for different sounds (crowd, players, etc.)

And a final bonus fantasy option that I know will never be: Please add announcers! [:'(]

[edit] I almost forgot. There was one offense play where I right-clicked on an option and an error popped up. I was able to press F9 to continue so it wasn't all bad. I know this is vague, I'll try to get more details when something like this happens. [:)]

Also, my mouse sensitivity is way off in the game. Is there a way to adjust this in-game? It's really slow and choppy.

Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the mouse sensitivity in game. The mouse speed is completely dependent on what speed your mouse drivers are set to given a specific screen resolution. Some drivers allow for different settings for different screen resolutions so that might help (assuming you have drivers that do that).
Very high screen resolutions might be more prone to this problem because the mouse is always moving at the same pixel speed accross the screen.

But all the mouse code is pretty vanilla directx calls and I just paint the cursor where directx tells me the mouse should be.

thanks
