Serious Bug Reminder

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Serious Bug Reminder

Post by Russian Guard »

Last night, playing Spain, I negotiated a Treaty with France to lend me the Villaneuve Fleet for 1 year (gotta break that Imperialist strangehold Britain has on the high seas)[:'(]

Lo and behold, a year passes, and the entire French Fleet then becomes Spanish (the ships, but not the fleet container).

While it was great for the Spanish Fleet, obviously not what the French had expected.

I can see it now; the day the Treaty is up, Spanish soldiers, in the dead of night, board the entire French Fleet of ships and arrest their crews, siezing the ships and adding them to the Spanish navy.

Napoleon might get a little peeved, methinks [:D]

Ouch.  Does this only happen for fleets?

Eric,

I think it happens in any unit loan situation, but not sure. I'll check that out this week and post the results.
