I was going through the free agent signing process and I came across this young SS with great ratings and I noticed that he won the rookie of the year award the prior year. Currently a player is considered to be a rookie, and thus eligible for the award, if the player has accumulated in prior seasons fewer than 130 at bats. This player, David Oyer, did have less than 130 ab's in 2014 but in all prior years he totaled 200 ab's prior to 2015, this should have disqualified him from winning the award.
