Hehe..ask those who have played until the or 'any' end. Depends on the player. A rookie may have problems with playing the germans, they should be played by the more experienced player imo. OTH the soviet side will not waste its units in desastrous counterattacks and hold at all costs orders as was historically the case. This makes the soviet side stronger towards the end of '41 than it was in history..hindsight plays a stronger role here than in other historical scenarios. ..nothing new here from my side..

If it is balanced or not depends on your perspective on FitE - should it be an accurate simulation of the War in the East or more a hypothetical 'what could have been' kind of simulation?

I would love hints for Germany. Like a list of ten hints. That would be glorious. I am playing the latest FiTe version and keep getting bogged down on the Dnepr.
I don't think it's tilted because I know of players who really understand this game do very well as the Germans. I am still learning the operational art of war. Love the potential of the scenario. I do wish there was a version that begain in late December of 41.
Practice, practice, practice.
