Is there a differnece between the matrix and slitherine version?

I am going to buy & download this game when I get home later.

Is there a difference between versions?

I am inclined to buy the Matrix version, since I found out about the game through the Matrix website.

The only difference is that Matrix and Slitherine use their own installers and so have to issue seperate versions of each update - this means changes/patches are sometimes available for Slitherine customers a little before Matrix customers.
 
Plus presumably Slitehrine gets more of the price if you buy direct from them.

I think Slitherine installer allows only three installations, while you don't have that problem with Matrix.
