Port Numbers behind Firewall

Post by sam.vanratt@gmx.net »

Hello folks,
after playing nearly all variations I'm seeking for new frontiers (aka human intelligence). Because I'm living behind my Cisco firewall and now willing to opne me to my partners for playing tos, I'd like to know the receiving ports TOS uses. I know it was once discuessed but i couldn't find the thread. So which ports I do have to listen to?
Cheers
Sam

I've set up a personal firewall on my comp and created a rule for port 42118.
It works fine for me.

Glad to be of service. :)

P.S. I recommend getting ICQ and posting your account # here.

Hi, I'm Hetzer. If you want to get up to speed on netplay I'd be glad to help. I can be reached on ICQ at 143948813.

Hetzer, I didn't say *anybody* shall post his ICQ #.
I'm sure we'll find yours in every other thread :p
or at least in those started by newbies.

Some players ICQ # will also be found in the matrix user profile. And it should be without saying that 'ToS' is mentioned as reason for an authorization request. :)

After all, I'd also like to be of some help in 'training lessons'. :D

Bernd you know that I'm always glad to see new trainers in ToS.
All you have to do is pass a small practical exam (me) :)

passing is easy. passing and living is not. passing in a car is hard unless they cooperate.
