Widescreen resolutions

Does the game support widescreen resolutions? Maybe I'm missing a setting somewhere, but this is what the game looks like on my system. Things don't seem to line up right:

could you give me your full system specs (operating system, exact resolution) and if possible a DX diagnostics (see previous thread by Erik Rutins).

right click on your desktop for the settings tab, click advanced settings and try setting the DPI to 96 if it wasnt on 96.

let me know if that might do the trick.

definitly. its the screen DPI setting.

if you set the screen DPI to 96 DPI then everything will be fine.

i will make sure that the first patch will adress this issue and things will look fine in any DPI.

It displays just fine at any resolution 1024x768 and above as long as you don't change the Windows DPI.

I have no problems at all at 1920x1200.

In that case you'll either need to adjust it down temporarily to play the game, which is pretty simple to do, or wait for the first update which will resolve that.

Setting the DPI to 96 works, although at 1920x1200 everything is now REALLY tiny, as opposed to just tiny before.  Look forward to the patch

Interestingly, the DPI workaround also fixed the same problem that was also apparent in People's Tactics.  I always wondered why PT looked fine on my desktop but was all skewed on my laptop.  Now I know!

sometimes some microsoft logic illudes even untill release moment.
 
for AT this issue will be adressed in the first patch anyway. you should be able to leave your desktop on whatever you like.
 
though i think everything will be to tiny with resolutions above 1600x1200.

No worries, it's only a minor issue.  Microsoft "logic" has been eluding people since the 1980s [:)]
