Going back to demographics/how people play -

I'm 19, and a stat-geek.  I like to play with fictional players in a fictional league (mainly because I haven't figured how to get the league to expand just right so it lines up with the real expansion, and if I can't get it perfect, I don't like it).  I am a game-by-game manager, though once I lock up the division I generally start simming the games because i'm horrible at getting the younger players experience.  I'm in my 12th season, although back when I played Puresim 2005 I got quite a few seasons in before ruining my historical data with a beta patch. :(  My league right now has 24 teams, although it started with four (I expanded too many times too quickly, and it unbalanced the league.)  My goal is to get up to 40 teams, but now I'm waiting until the expansion teams start doing well before expanding again.

I'd like to echo the things said in this thread - specifically, digital herion, and the "One More Game" mentality.  I know I definitely stayed up playing Puresim all night, telling myself I was just taking a well-earned break from studying for my midterms.  Thankfully, the midterms in question were not too difficult, and I was able to pull a decent grade.
