What Do You Like Best About The JTCS?

I'm creating this thread as my way of saying "thank you." I'm going off the internet in a few days' time, and wanted to let you know that getting this game means a lot to me. EF II is my all-time favorite computer game, and when TalonSoft went kaput and Microshaft did its usual, self-serving (non)improvement to its operating systems, I thought it was bye bye forever to those great Talonsoft games.

Though it isn't perfect, it doesn't have to be, for me; as a disabled person with a lot of hours alone, it's great to have these games as a companion.

Thanks to those here to answered my questions when I was considering purchase, and to the great support afterwards in updating/upgrading it to the fine game it is. Good luck to each and every one of you. So long.

If you have the means, try stopping in somewhere that has the internet and take a look for the current updates and patches. The next update is due around Christmas.

Just to chime in, I really like the scale of the game.  The units being squads instead of individul soldiers lets you play larger battles.  But at the same time you are not up to the operational level where the individual types of weapons are less evident.

Overall a great game!

I'am just very happy this team has chosen to upgraded it and resell it. I believe this is the best program talonsoft ever produce. Talonsoft never upgraded it nor listen to it consumers. Thats the reason it whent belly up.
 
I have always love this game. As a matter of fact I still had it install when I bought the JTCS. What I love most of it that I can fight in all three Theaters and not just in Europe. I really do not have a favorite Theater to play in. I love them all  and play with them all. I just hope they improve all three Theater in equal terms. I believe the The Rising Sun selection is the stepson in this series and I do believe it needs the most attention since the East Front and West Front are the most upgraded Theaters.
