Use the Turn History to review the turn either step-by-step or battle-by-battle.

You get a losses (and production) overview at the start of each turn.
If you´re interested in the details of each battle hitting the "history" button is not too much
work, or ? [;)]
First thing i want to see is the map. I see where the enemy attacked. When i need more detailled
informations i use the history function.

I always click on the History button to start a turn off, then click on the Next Battle button to review the highlights until I'm through with the replay.
