Supply consumption

Post by HerzKaraya »

When a base states its supllies needed, what does that number really mean, supply points used per day/week/month? I guess it takes into account the current missions set for the air units, the stance of the ground units and if the base is expanding/repairing, etc...
The same question regarding the ground units.
The ultimate goal is to calculate how much supply is needed by all units present ina given scenario per amount of time.
Thanks!

It means - mainly - supplies required per month of NON COMBAT operations - of all things that use supplies in the hex.

In some wierd places (US/Canadian West Coast for example) it is the above PLUS 30,000!!!

And supply consumption really is statistically controlled - so exactly what you need/consume is determined by die rolls - as well as things like "are you flying air ops" or "are you fighting a land battle" or even "are you shooting at enemy ships from your land units"????

Thank you for the reply,
I guess nothing beats testing and more testing to get the numbers right, uh?
