Save game directory?

Post by MarkShot »

What are the four different autosave files? How are you supposed to use them if your game crashes?

What is the file AI.AIX?

Thanks.

they're pretty much exactly what they are named for - autosaves of the last time you moved, gave naval orders & whatever else.

you can load them just like any other save.

No idea what AI.AIX is sorry.

Okay, I see. They are different substeps of a particular turn then. So, only one is actually needed.

What confused me is that the scheme we use for AGEOD's games has a collection of 5 files of which all are pretty much necessary as part of the save.

Thanks.
