Mike, sound studio, voice actors. All present.

I want one of the less excitable characters. You know, the cool, professional guy (with Oxford English).

I just have a problem sending big files, but something can be arranged.

how about Alan Veray? he's the leader of the attacking forces (you in the project) and breifs you on all the missions. i geuss he can be cool and professional with an Oxford English... it doesn't reallly matter.
but for one thing, "Dictator" is certainly not cool, calm and professional.

I can play several characters if you wish. I've done some voice acting in the past, and can alter my mannerisms and inflection to a degree that makes me sound like two different ppl at times. I just can't do female voices :)
I see your lips moving, but all I hear is: Blah Blah Blah, I'm a friggin moron.

Urgh. The good guy? No thanks. ;)

I want to do an evil cool guy. ;) The one that just gives a mental shrug when the good guys are in front of him with their forces.

well then, sux to be you kar. alan's the closest char to what you described... and nobody's exactly what one would call a "good guy" in this. alan's not above hiring a turncoat who fought against him until he was offered more money... *g*

prince, pick a couple chars if you want to do them, i can tell you more. tomorrow morning i'll post descriptions of all the chars.

thers' also room for an extra... if anyone can to some extent imatate the SCV from StarCraft i'll need that for a part. he'll have 2 or 3 (maybe) lines before Ghost shoots him.

"Ghost"
Very little is known about this man. After being experimented on for several years, he escaped from and destroyed the science facility in which he had lost his identity. He is known now simply as "Ghost," due to his uncanny ability to bend light around himself, rendering him virtually invisible.
He currently works as an Anteran commander; however his primary occupation is as a mercenary. Should someone offer him enough, he would kill his current commanding officer without a second thought.

Dave Raynor
Lt. Dave Raynor has been a soldier and officer in the Derjean military for nearly twenty years, and has built himself quite a reputation. Even in the heat of battle, he keeps his head and commands his troops, often leading them all out alive (if not always victorious). Unfortunatly, he is somewhat lacking in the skills to command large forces in battle.

Gen. Jason "J" Duke
This is a general who know how to fight. His tactical skills are about the best you can find, and many soldiers look up to him. When offered a position as C. in C. of the Anteran army, he accepted, leaving his wife and son on Tarsonis. He understands that, in the face of new technology, he has little chance of living out his entire term, but he also know that he won't go down without a fight, and his soldiers will back him to the bitter end.

Sean Danamael
As can be expected from a Wraith pilot, Sean is extremely cocky - and with good reason. His sill at handling his ship is unmatched. He's likely seen and survived more battles in the same fighter that many of his commanders have.
He's also quite a mechanic. Against regulations, he has modified his fighter, doubling the armor and reinforceing the structure, as well as enhanceing the burst laser and rocket launchers.

"Dictator"
Obviously, Dictator is not his real name, but considering the absolute power he maintains on Anterum, it is a fitting alias. Under his orders, his true name is known by none but himself - it's been so long since it was spoken that it's quite possible that even he has forgotten it. Even in diary entries stolen by covert operatives he has refered to himself as "Dictator." Everyone else that knew his name was executed long ago.

Adm. Alan Verey
Although he isn't the most ambitious fellow, Admiral Verey always hets his job done. Nothing seems to faze him; even in the face of near utter destruction he keeps his cool and calm. Anyone who knows him personally can tell you he keeps the same professional air about him even in private.

By the way, since we don't have to roleplay the characters, it doesn't matter a thing what anyone prefers. :)

What are you trying to do, anyway? A mission mod? Doubt so. A radioplay? Well, maybe. Takes a lot of scripting, though.
First, get the story to be read by people. Then - when popular - think about it coming to sound. :) (Radioshow to book only worked in the 70ties.)

Yep, and it sux to be me. (Whatever you were trying to tell me with that. ;))

its going to be a campaign for StarCraft. and actually yea you should roleplay it (to some extent)...
you have a point, i'm writing the scripts now actually. i only have the script for the first mission's briefing written up, and don't have any of the maps yet, but i'm working on it... i've got help for the map design (in the form of a couple friends of mine), but seeing as how i know the most about the triggers i'm going to be doing all of those.

i also added another character (happened while writing the breifing). here he is:

Eric Layiel
A very intelligent member of the Derjean armed forces, Eric is in charge of troop deployments and technological research. Although he has no formal title, a lot of soldiers (and commanders) refer to him as "Colonel Sanders," although noone knows why. People are usually happy to be contacted by him, as it often means reinforcements are on the way.
