Playing with a fast CPU

Post by Randy Stead »

I am playing SPWAW 7.1 on a Pentium 4, 1.7 GHz, 512 Mb RAM, 32 Mb video card, Windows XP. The game is performing well, but runs so quickly that I can barely see the units move. I recall reading a while back about a program that would slow down the game. I can't remember the name of the program, Go Slow or something like that. Any help appreciated:) Thanks.

What you are thinking of is mo'slo.

Before you try that, have you tried adjusting the delays on the pref screen?
thanks, John.

I agree with John G on this one, just adjust your delays in the preference screen first. I'm running an AMD XP 2000 with 512mb DDR PC2100 RAM and a Geforce 4 TI 4400 128mb DDR RAM video card and adjusting settings is all that is required to make it playable for me.
