1.02 beta could be available as early as tomorrow - we're hoping to have 1.02 go official sometime next week, depending on feedback on the 1.02 beta.

That's the standard answer I'm happy to see.

FWIW, if you look at how People's Tactics evolved and how well this game runs as is, and how quickly this game got a quick-fix patch for a few awkward bugs in the initial release, I'm not gonna worry too much about essential bug fixes getting fixed in a timely manner.

AT does seem surprisingly solid for a PC game doesn't it? [:)] Much better than my usual experience. I've actually gotten patch fatigue from a couple of my games. Space Empires V, for example, while a good game, gets patched monthly. Not usually to upgrade, but to fix the game. A year after release sees a pretty solid game that's still getting fixed. Great support, but...[8|] I'm not sure I'll pick up the probable SE VI. I wish more games were this well coded.

v1.02 will adress a host of small glitches and all bugs reported untill now.

I am planning to work on a bigger patch (v1.1) for a longer period in order to tweak / add some features.

There is a 1.01 beta. I imagine maybe Vic decided to skip the 1.01 official, and do a 1.02 beta, followed by a 1.02 official. (sounds fine to me).

.0x releases are usually minor changes or fixes, while .x releases tend to have more significant changes and hence take longer to test. I'm glad to see Vic is thinking in terms of some longer term enhancements, as well as the quick bug fixes.

This game looks pretty good to me, the scenario editor looks like it's going to offer the commuinty the ability to do some interesting things.

We found a glitch with the 1.02 beta, so I expect Vic will fix it and we're then looking at tomorrow.

LOL. Westheim, that's what Google (define ETA) is for.

Edit: oops, I shouldn't be such a smart-a** ... there's also that Basque separatist group, ETA.
