SPWaw - Generals Edition on a Macbook via Parallels emulation?

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

SPWaw - Generals Edition on a Macbook via Parallels emulation?

Post by debris_ »

Has anyone out there managed to get SPWaW Generals Edition to run on an Apple computer via Parallels software virtual machine?

Parallels is working well with all my other windows software, but without SPWaW, what's the point.

Running Windows XP sp1, with updated direct X.

It trys to start, but it just opens window then crashes - no errors displayed. The generals edition start screen will open, but you can't open SPWaW from there. I also tried executing mech.exe but it failed the same way.

Anyone have any trouble shooting ideas?
