I've bought the game downloaded it, Enjoying playing it very much (great game) but I have no confirmation email[&:] I ordered the physical shipment and Download. How do I go about getting my serial number? Checked support, it shows the other games I have bought through matrix but not Advanced tactics.

Matrix have had some problems with the physical shipment suppliers, which they are in the process of sorting asap. There are threads on the forum about this. I'm not sure I understand your question about getting your serial number as you have been playing the game. You can't install it without the serial.
 
As for the members section, you have to log in and input your serial number for the game to show up in your list. Again, you must have the number to have installed the game.

The problem is I just cut and pasted it from the download screen expecting to get it(serial number) in the confirmation email (which never arrived). All I have is an Authorization number. So the problem is I cannot patch the game without the serial number. (I did make a note of it but I cant find it).

Look in your Advanced Tactics directory. There should be a file called "serialreg.txt". Open this with Notepad. Your serial number will be there.
