Updating a pre-TGS copy of SS

Hi,

Is it still possible to update my copy of SS now? I bought it back a little before TGS came out, then I did not play it much since my joystick died. Now, I want to play it again, but I can't seem to be able to update the game. Everything seems to be for TGS, and when I try to apply those updates to my copy, it won't accept my S/N.

I already tried to search for this in the forum, but my computer locks up if I try to use the search function of this BBS software. All sities I've seen that uses this forum software crash my computer on the search function.
