Manage Army Menu?

In the Manage Army menu, the bottom right of the screenshot shows a blue colored cross and a red x. What do these two buttons do?

I'm not sure, since I'm not seeing that here. Where exactly is that screenshot from?

Red X: exit screen.
Blue cross: makes the selected army on the right side the active army (left side).

All our buttons have a tooltip in-game.

Those two buttons looks different in my game. Everything else in that screen is the same as far as I can tell.
Have no picture but the red X is the same X as in all other screens and the blue cross is a triangle, the same as the ones used for scrolling.

Yes, the "Select / Activate" button was changed late in development. Screenshots are still form the beta.

Does the red "x" exit with changes? In other words, is there an option to exit the menu without saving any changes?
