Player Aids

Post by justaguy93 »

So I'm an old Avalon Hill game nut and just can't play a wargame without my charts and tables and such. After reading through the manual and reading through some of the FAQs and tutorials here I threw a quick couple of documents together for easy reference when learning the game.

I'm not 100% sure all of this information is accurate, but I figured I'd share for other people who are starting out from scratch to save time scrolling through the manual over and over to try and learn the game system.

Very nice job on the charts. The production results table may need to be updated to reflect the current cost of trenches.

Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies.

Yeah I haven't really played much of the game yet, so I'm sure there are some things incorrect and other things that have changed with the patches.

But if people want to get me some feedback on changes to make I can get them polished up and then create some .pdf files.

I am waiting for the final 1.2 patch before my next game but this should be real helpful even if not 100% accurate.  Thanks for the time and effort.

Nice job! Thanks.

Now we just need a keyboard reference. :)

Very nice, I will use these. May have to laminate them like the old AH CRTs. Wow, I think I just had a flashback to the '60s.

Excellent, thanks, I'm similarly an AH person so welcome these charts (although to be 'true' AH charts surely you have to alternatve colour shading on each line [:)])
