Campaign game reinforcements

Post by benpark »

The reinforcements according to the main campaign (as France) are to come in at Susa. What happens if it isn't taken? No reinforcements? I'm quite a few turns in and am getting nothing, and wondering what is happening.

There are 4 alternative reinforcement entry points for reinforcements for both sides. This is not listed, but you should get a message when they arrive with the location. IF they do not arrive, maybe you have found a bug, send us the save (1 turn before they should arrive).

Is there any way to edit the reinforcements in this game? I've been working on a Marengo scenario and have discovered that the editor does not allow for the possibility of delaying reinforcements.
What about being able to add new unit types such as horse artillery?

You cannot edit reinforcements in the current version. It is technically difficult to do with the current engine unfortunately, so it is unlikely that we add this in a patch.
What you can do for a custom scenario is to alter the starting date if you want to manipulate the reinforcement (eg. starting date 1793 and no reinforcements will arrive....).

New units - it is not possible.
