I have "1941," an unfinished, unreleased WWII game by [forerunner to Western Civilization Software]. The story: about a decade ago, Eric (= WCS programmer/lead developer/primum mobile) and I began work on a WWII game, and got it into pretty decent shape so that we could try to find a publisher. One publisher suggested that we instead use the engine for a Napoleonic wars project, and "Crown of Glory" was the result. At some point, Eric suffered a horrible harddrive crash and lost the key files (there's probably a lesson in there somewhere), meaning that my decade-old Fujitsu laptop that runs on Windows 95 is the ONLY computer in the galaxy that has a functioning version of "1941."

Think I could sell it on E-Bay?

I also have countless pages of notes for a fantasy game we never did. My favorite file is the list of dozens of insults we dreamed up. My favorite remains “You can take this quest and shove it!”
