It's probably a good idea to start a new game to get the full benefits, especially for the AI to give it a clean start.

I just started a game with the latest beta version. I am playing as the TE against the CP AI. Although the CP has declared war against Belgium it has not launched any attacks anywhere in Belgium, Serbia or against the Russians. Throughout the July-August turn it has remained passive in a purely defensive stance. I will continue playing to see if it has some clever strategy in mind other than all quiet on all fronts.

I know nothing of computer or learning AI. But one thing I think I noticed with 1,2 is that the CPU seemed to use better strategy as you showed it the strategy to use. For Exemple, on one game it used almost the same start as I do when I got for Russia, and almost trapped 2 armies in a pocket in western poland. I guess you need to show him a couple of stuff. And yes, the AI in this game never seems to go around france main battleline.

Downloaded the patch. Just started a game as the 3E against the AI. The AI made a pretty lethal looking deployment for a go at Russia first, but hasn't moved out of its jump off hexes during the first two impulses. [:(]

I still don't see India at my laptop res 1280 800.  I see it at the very first res listed 1024 768-  is this the only way India is visible?

Getting an error when loading existing games over the patch. I'm assuming this means a restart is required.

Yes a restart is required.

If anyone is experiencing an AI that simply won't do anything aggressive (in a situation where it should), please email it to me at fhunter@telus.net

Frank found and fixed one possible aggressiveness issue, which is addressed in the new Beta 9 we just uploaded. We'd appreciate if folks would try starting new games to play over the weekend with Beta 9 and let us know how those turn out AI-wise. Thanks!
