Have you ever seen a werblewind in cm or other realistic sim chewing on infantry.. nothing to do? great armor support vehicle!
Better, I've seen them chew up armored cars and armored personel carriers. But a hit in the turret goes right in as the armor is pretty thin there.

Yep. Almost any gun or single turreted tank and single gun vehicle can be added. You can add eithr the data or the models or both. If you don't have the right model and can't make one you use one that's already in the game.
I've made some earlier and later timeframe models of my own and once the game is out they'll be available.

But, I don't think you could do a multiple gun unit with the game engine now. You'd have to treat all four guns firing as a single quantum of fire. Against infantry this would be easy as you just increase the killpower of the weapon. But against hard targets you don't get the chewing effect of multiple hits.

They will find that they can mod this game like no other. I've made test xmls of M60A1s, T-55s and T-62s to pit them against one another. (I don't have the models so I had to use Kharkov tanks.) But the game still gives accurate results for these.
I also made some fantasy scenarios by making Maus vs Russian hordes.
The game engine impressed me so much I went out and got Max 3D to make my own models. I am building vehicles to eventually make my own Kursk scenarios.

Here are what I've done sofar.

Hey everyone, if you haven't read through the info and screenshots I posted last year in the first few pages of this thread, I encourage you to review it now. More info will be showing up shortly but it's good to revisit what we've already discussed. Also, I would please ask your help in letting fellow gamers know that Panzer Comand: Kharkov is in the final stage of release and we are aiming at an end of February/beginning of March release date. This is definite at this point, there will be no further release delays.

You knew that this question was coming...

I'll have more precise info on that first soon, but Operation Winter Storm owners will get a substantial discount on Kharkov as well as getting access to the updated Winter Storm campaigns and scenarios in a format that works with the updated Kharkov engine.

We will not be accepting pre-orders, but we will release with all versions available so you'll be able to get a boxed copy with a printed manual (if you want) from day 1.

Unfortunately not in this case as the Winter Storm demo cost/benefit was not seen as significant, but we will be posting plenty of pre-release info on the features and improvements, including videos, maps and AARs.
