I don't think it will be possible unless I can cut the Jap VP total by starving it out. So far the results have been less than expected. An invasion of Honshu will not work so I can't score many points thre. I am considering a landing in Southern China with the goal of seizing a few bases and maybe Hong Kong. If you had done this I would have sent much of the CEF and Kwangtung to oppose it but I would have been forced to leave garrisons in Russia and Korea to prevent landings there. I would settle for keeping the Allies out of Chungking.

Robert: A-bomb attack was from 15K. Another will come in a few days.

I had thought of end of the game capture of high value VP targets along the Chinese Coast, but then i remembered never to get involved in a land war in asia [:D]

I'll send you a turn so you can look at the forces.

Honshu is out since it would be 25K to 20K.

Korea is out since there are about 30K AV in China and Russia that could respond and they could all get there relativly fast.

Russia is out for the same reason.

South China is the best option since it is furthest from the forces in Russia and there is room to manouver. Also, Japan could not send everything here for fear of a new landing in Korea or Russia and it would eat a ton of supply for the Russian units to get there.
