Does this option work for anybody? I know it works for the soviet AI but doesn't seem to do anything for me in pbem or as axis playing the AI

I use it and it works.The best way to use it is when you are on the defense.When the enemy advance into the hex next to you.
Plot bombardment and see his squads take huge losses.It is not so effective when the corps have the tme to dig in but if it has moved use it!

Has the entrenchment value of the attacker any effect?

I seem to take very big losses.

This turn:

Soviet: 380 Guns???

German: about 70 infantery and 130 guns!?!

Some of my units in entrench value 4-5 was badly hit by return fire.

How do the computer calculate how many guns & tanks to fire??

Of 180 guns with rediness 78% 31 guns fired and so on and that was on railroad.
A great man ones said "Veni Vidi Vici" and "Alea iacta est"
But a lot other said this "Ave Caesar,morituri te salutant"
