Discount for people who have purchased H3 already?

I was just wondering if there will be a disocunt for people that have purcahsed H3 already through Matrix games.

I'm sorry, but there's no discount in that case, this is strictly a new bundle deal that's aimed at interesting new Commander's Edition customers in H3 ANW. What you're describing would be more of an upgrade type discount which we have not planned on in this case.

No offense, but where's the incentive for folks who already own H3ANW to buy HCCE? I was seriously considering buying HCCE in addition to the H3ANW I already own, but now I feel like I'm losing out if I do. From a marketing perspective, it might have been best to hold off on the bundle deal for a while.

I hear you, but the incentive is that it's still a good game, reasonably priced. I don't think anyone who owns H3ANW was expecting any kind of discount on purchasing HCE, so this new bundle is just a bonus for folks who don't own either yet.

At the risk of seeming like a jerk, why not reward the folks who have already spent some money with you? This just sends the signal that I should hold off on my game purchases in hopes of a better deal. I've been following the development of HCCE for months. I would be downloading it tonight except that I now feel like I'm being penalized for buying H3ANW six months ago.

Like I said, maybe it would have been best to wait a few months before offering a bundle deal. Or maybe through a bone to people who already own H3ANW, like $10 off HCCE.

Yeah and next time you do a Christmas sale at $10 off please refund $10 as a reward to anyone who had to pay full price several months back. Why penalize people who supported games like Hornet Leader or Advanced Tactics when they were first released? [;)]

Well I hardly expect everyone (or anyone) to agree with my point of view and I've seen enough of how these discussions can go that I won't belabor the point. I've been a pretty decent Matrix customer over the past year, year-and-a-half and I don't agree with this particular marketing move on a just released product. Enough said.

I'm sorry you're disappointed, unfortunately this is not something that's going to change right now. The part I don't understand though is that this would only disappoint me if I had been expecting a discount. Since there was no reason to expect one and you made the purchase decision for H3ANW with that in mind, I don't see why it's a problem that there's this separate bundle deal for new combined purchases.

We will take your feedback into account for our future plans.
