No full screen option for ANW?

Post by Jim D Burns »

Is there any way to get ANW to run in a full screen window? On my monitor I cannot even read the text it's so small. And if I reset my desktop resolution to a minimum of 800x600 (can't go smaller) it still leaves very little area to display the games windows on. This game needs the ability to increase the text font size in larger resolution monitors and to play in full window mode.

Technically, it's not Full Screen, but Windowed. In practice, it is full screen except for the taskbar.

It's probably the best game I've seen on here to incorporate windowed mode. I tried hornet leader demo and it launched 3 different windows, then went full screen, and changed my desktop resolution which screwed all my icons.

Yes, you're right. I like this approach because I can do a lot of other things while enjoying HCE at the same time.

I'm a bit puzzled now: I intend to get HCE and I use a TFT with a native 1280x1024 resolution. Does HCE run at this resolution in a real full screen mode or are the graphics upscaled or what...? [&:]

Everything will be the exact same, you'll just have more space to extend those maps into. [8D]

I play at 1680x1050 and it's wonderful having so much space.
