Thanksgiving always reminds me of a Jay Leno joke. He was talking about the anniversary of the sale of Manhattan Island by the local Native Americans and it went something like this...

"You know...the Indians were pretty smart. If it wasn't for that agreement, the white man could have just come and taken over the whole country!" [:D]
