Problem in Ver 1. plus how to go to v.4

1. Trying to finish PBEM game fast to then go to V 4. But when I open the startup screen that looks like metal plating with the soldiers in the left hand corner it should have the START and EXIT buttons. It doesnt. Only see the message about "starting a battle colonel". Help.

2. Since I have v. 1 how do I get to v. 4 ?

From that screen you then go to the Play by E-Mail button in version 4.0 but you should not have this in version 1, only in version 4.0.

THis is a little confusing to me Louie. Are you sure you have only version 1 or do you have a mix of the two?...WB

To clarify. Only have v. 1 Now cannot get into it to view oppponent's turn sent to me.
All I get is the STeel Panthers "cover" page that SHOULD have the "play and exit" buttons on it in order to open the game and get to the page that has all of the buttons listed down the right side ie start, save etc.
I originally opened my opponents turn, was ready to run the vcr playback, then had to shut down and come back later. Opened up later and ran into problem I have described.
