Changing a unit's graphics and sound

Post by sztartur2 »

Gentlemen,

Which files have to be modified if I wish to change the graphics and sound of a unit? What I know is the following.

1. Unit graphics are stored in the up*****.bmp files.
2. Game sounds are in .ogg files and movement and combat are stored in different files most probably there are common sounds used for more units.

My specific questions:
1. Where are the unit highlight graphics stored? (The contour which shows up when you select a unit.)
2. Where is it set which .bmp file is bound to which unit?
3. Where is set which sound is bound to which unit?
4. What are .bin files for?
5. Did I miss something important related to changing unit graphics and sound?

Artur.
