Sabotage Bug

Post by MilRevKo »

I have noticed in 1.10.10 when the south uses the sabotage siege mode there is a successful advance every time. The first few times it happened I thought he was just lucky but after the sixth straight success at sabotaging my forts I became a little concerned.

I believe that there is a 10% change of success. If that 10% shot is successful the for takes between 1 - 100 damage. If not the fort can repair itself and so forth...

Has any one else noticed this?

We'll look into this. Perhaps you are the first person regularly to use this siege method!

I have ran a test PBEM to verify that the subterfuge is not working according to the Manuel:

Subterfuge-10% chance of 1-100 damage.

The result was subterfuge was able to advance a siege 100% of the time except when the besieging units forces were below the amount necessary to continue the siege.

I ran sieges from both the Union and the CSA and both were able to advance sieges all the time, the losses both side took as the besieging army seemed high but I am not familiar with the besieging army loss algorithm.
