Ok it's true.... I love the game as-is. With that said, does anyone here remember the game called Victory at Sea by 360 Pacific back oh so many moons ago? Too bad the game never worked fully. Anyway, one really cool feature of the game was that, as the game time moved along, new reinforcements appeared at certain bases.

That would be a cool feature to add at sometime with an upgrade. Certain ships and/or aircraft would arrive at bases to replace or suppliment current forces on both sides. What's cool there is your never all that certain that you've destroyed all enemy forces!

Am I the only one that thinks that would be a great addition to this awesome game? [8D]

Something to add to the wishlists for sure. Being able to script arrival times and locations would be grand.

I always thought that was what some designers were doing by putting formations in far distant corners of the map ... [&:][;)]

That is a strategy that I have used also but I was really thinking mostly of aircraft which will not normally forward on to other bases. The other cool feature that Victory at Sea had was you could dock you ship at a certain port and it would repair damages to your ship. The amount of time it took to repair was, of course, directly related to the extent of the damages! Just food for thought and discussion!!
