No sound for Matrix games

Okay, somehow I lost sound for all Matrix titles.

For most of the games, the sound is disabled if the opening Menu is still open/active. Closing this window reactivates sound. Not a big deal, but for Close Combat, this has no effect...no sound no matter what.

What did I do and more importantly, how can I fix it?

Did this happen at once for all the games? If so my first thoughts would be that something changed on your pc; seems more likely that one thing is affecting all rather than multiple and varied games all acting up at once, IMHO. Have you installed something new? Is this only affecting Matrix titles or other software as well.

Happened all at once. No new installations. Only Matrix titles affected. I am puzzled....
