problem with text in main menu

Hi, I'm having trouble with my trial download of Panzer Commaner. After I start it up and get past configuration, when I get to the main menu, theres no type whatsoever, every bar is blank. Anyone know why this would happen?

Not sure, could you make sure you've updated to the latest version and post a DxDiag for us? A screenshot would also be helpful if possible.

the game is a demo, I don't have a serial number to update.
