Problem with DoW on Minors

Here's what happened.

As France I DoW'd a non-influenced minor in Italy. The system placed the minor under the control of Prussia. I currently have an enforced peace with Prussia that would end in 5 months.

I moved my Corp into the country during the movement phase.

When I went to the new phase, ie the combat phase, the program skipped right past it.

To solve this problem I kept the corp in the zone for 5 months DOW'd Prussia and then took the province.

Why did the enforced peace I have with Prussia constrain my actions...Prussia, as the loser of the previous war should be constrained not France.

Note: I have since seen this happen several times.

Keep in mind that if there were no battles to fight then it would skip the combat phase. If you wish to lay siege to a city then you must goto the area then select the "move to city" button to trigger the assualt attempt.

Thanks, I'll try to remember this.  I do think this needs to be automated or at least asked about in a future update.
