Major's Diplomatic Phase is never ending

Hi everyone, i ve been waiting since Aug06 for this game.
Now, i got it and feel rather happy.

I'm playing France and is at war with GB and Prussia.
Prussia is in fiasco zone, and Napoleon is besieging Berlin.

The prussian diplomatic phase is never ending...
Because of fiasco, all conquered minor shall become neutral (In the boardgame rules, those occupied by other major, shall become conquered by this major 10.5.2.3)

I ve tried a few peace conditions for Prussia:
I don't accept conditional but will accept 36 months, 3 ceded provinces (checking those), reparations.. royal marriage instead of provinces
Even, if i offer a conditional or informal peace, same problem.
5 minutes later, game is not responding..

Im get stuck with it to. So think i try changing it to conditional surender.

Note, i did get uncondition vs france as GB, and they agreed, appears you cant force them remove Napoleon if he is my prisoner. (not sure if i had to many options).

Prussia surendered to me as GB to uncondtional where I limited my conditons.

I have exactly the same issue as well late in a game.

1. At war with only 1 opponent (Austria, as Turkey).
2. I have beseiged Vienna and hold most but not all of the remaining provincial capitals (W and E Galicia are both open).
3. Have previously accepted the surrender of Austria along with annexation of 3 provinces (i.e., this is near the end of our 2nd war)
4. I have tried multiple surrender options (Conditional/Unconditional, different terms, etc)
5. Austria is unable to complete the diplomacy phase. No crash to desktop, simply see the box and am able to move the mouse.

Could this have anything to due with maximum 3 province losses from a major (it was an old recommended optional rule, but did not see it in the new rules)

I was just going to post about the same problem, and saw this thread. In my case, I was France, besieging Madrid, expecting a surrender, and the Spanish diplomatic phase got stuck.

I tried replaying the phase, making changes in my diplomacy, with no luck. I tried going back to land combat and not assaulting, with no luck. Finally, I went back to the land phase, and did not besiege, but just sat in the land area outside the city. The diplomatic phase went through with no problems, though Spain did not surrender (presumably because Madrid wasn't actually besieged). In the following month, I besieged, and in the next diplomacy phase, Spain surrendered and the game went on as normal.

So, those of you trying to get your games unstuck might try that for now. There's clearly a bug of some kind for the patch to deal with.

Only real difference I saw between the phase that hung and the one a month later that didn't is that the problem occurred in December. Could be an economic phase thing?

I've attached the savefile of the hanging diplomatic phase (use with caution--I had to ctrl-alt-delete and stop the process to exit the game).

I would like to see the resolution of this issue as well. I have experienced the same lock up (with mouse movement) in the Prussian Diplomacy Phase after I -- as Austria -- have Berlin besieged. Note that Prussia has already lost 4 provinces to France and Austria.

We're testing all added fixes at this point and should be done close to the end of this week (Given we find no problems) but with the holiday schedules, I'm not sure if this will be released until next week.
