1) Red subs when given the option to counter fire against a torpedo attack, will fire anti-ship missiles instead of torpedoes.

2) MiG-25R appear to be invulnerable to attacks

Hi Ackos,
     Can you provide some more information for each item. 
 
a. Which battleset you are in (i.e. GIUK, EC2003 GIUK, HDSIII IOPG, ...)
b. Which scenario you are playing.
c. In the case of the submarine, which submarine in which group?  Was the blue firing unit perhaps a ship and not a submarine?

Is it possible you are observing the launch of standoff ASW missiles like the SS-N-16 Stallion (torpedo tube launched missiles that carry lightweight torpedoes or depth charges as their payload) ?

Pretty sure the MiG-25RBF isn't invulnerable. It just flies very high and very fast; its a tough target for any missile.

Mig-25R is not invulnerable, I've shot down several with AIM-54s. It is, however, able to fly faster on burner than many AAMs move, so unless you manage to completely surprise it, shooting with, eg, AIM-7 or AIM-9 is pointless ... [:(]

It is also capable of reaching Very High Altitude, something which most other A/C and a lot of air-to-air missiles and SAMs cannot do. So in truth while it is not invulnerable, it does have the 2 main advantages (altitude and speed) that make it very hard to intercept. That is why it is still one of the best recon aircraft in existance. SR-71 also has these advantages and it is equally as hard to intercept.
