Finland battle bug

Russia invades finland as usual, i manage to block the enemy movement, so they are slowed down, i am england, then russia declares war on me, ok no problem.

i move a corps of 10 british INF to the sea area (699) just below Abo, next to stockholm, i put depot on ship and land in abo to fight the russians there along with swedish corps that hit it from Sveaborg, i loss the battle and is told both corps surrender? ok i put this down to some possible rule about them having to retreat to ship where the depot is, so reload land, to just land the British corps and use the Swedish corps alone, still loss, no difference.

now next turn, i attack with both corps and got depot in Sveaborg, so they should retreat towards it, but no, i loss and they both surrender???? but there is a path, why would they surrender now?

well secondary bug found here, a small russian corps of just INF and MIL are just north of Sveaborg inside Finland, decide to hit it using two corps from Abo, 1 British inf corps and 1st swedish, a depot is still located in Sveaborg, i loss, funny how i keep losing in finland, but the retreat is not to the depot, but i am now in the russian area between sveaborg and russian city viborg?

seems to be some retreat bugs?

ok seems to be third bug with finland, Russia just surrendered conditionally to me, so the two corps that was in russia, was sent back into Swedish territory, but not into sveaborg or even north of it, no to the first forage 1 area of sweden, that borders to finland???

Also, why the hell did Russia surrender, when they kicked your ass every battle?

well i was a threat to the Russian fleet perhaps and i had two corps a turn from St. Petersburg, which only had 1I, depot and inf corps present, i was considering sending my british corps there, but russia surrendered before that

Retreat bugs like what you just described have been known to happen on occasion. Sounds like another adjustment there. I’ll run some tests on your other scenarios.

I had a fun one where the British attacked my French outside London, they beat me but when the game returned to the map I had been retreated and the British were in the area on their side of the channel crossing arrow. Prevented the Dutch Corps from crossing (though they got their revenge later by defeating a British army under Moore on their own with no leader. Still don't know how they managed it but go the Dutch.)
