Pending Scenario: Lightning war

Post by Vic »

I have no time to review all scenario properly myself.

So i would like some feedback on this scenario:
http://www.advancedtactics.org/scenario.php?nr=14

is it good enough to make it an approved scenario?

or should the designer fix some things?

kind regards,
Vic

Well I have just finished playing as Blue. AI was normal.  its a big map! I spent the 1st turn organizing into Corps. The 1st and 2nd HQ's were fine but the 3rd(paratroopers) seemed like a waste of time. (Do you know transports will try to air strike!)It was one big fun blitz to the Red.At no time did I think I would lose though. Next time AI is going to the max. There is some navel element to this one but the AI never tried an amphibious landing behind my lines which would have been really big trouble. Great scenario, Probably better as humie vs humie unless the AI gets a bit more sneaky.

Well I can tell you its a MUCH tougher game when all the AI's are ++. Maybe its the human wave stuff or the upgraded enemy units but I think I know how the Germans felt after a glorious drive to Moscow followed by ignominious retreat with the cossacks nipping at my heels, Next time I will watch the salients! I even noticed some enemy naval approaches which I took care off with my dive bombers. If they had invasion fleets, who knows? A very enjoyable scenario!

Actually I'm getting my ass kicked here. Red seems to hit me with a huge army plus amphibious raids. I have been trying a hold the line game but attacking their stacks seems to result in  70/30 stuff and I am on the short end of the stick! Air strikes get killed (time to use flak I guess) Yikes, anyone else play this one?
