Noobie Seeks Game

Post by joviel »

Looking to join a game, preferably as one of the smaller States (I'll leave France for the distant future).

Thanks,

Scott Uhrick

dont worry, if you dont want to play GB, FR or RS, then just give them 3,2 and 1 as points, then no way you should get them and if you still do, then go nuts :)

Why not Turkey?  That was going to be my primary choice.  Out of the way, maybe ally with Prussia to keep Russia honest.  What's wrong with the Turk?

Nothing is wrong with the Turk, it is just the last one decided and if you get it you should get it for 1 since there is no competition for it.

I actually prefer the Turk to countries like Prussia, as it's a lot more robust.

Lose your army?  That's a shame, just wait until the feudals are ready again and go again!  OK, you're short on $'s, but a French player who considers the enemy of his enemies to be worthy of assistance can throw you the occasional shekel.

If Prussia loses it's army, with it's relatively small economy, it can be very long, slow rebuild, punctuated by your neighbors using you as an easy surrender every 18 months.  This is especially scary in 1805 as you sit around praying you manage to steer clear of entanglements until Blucher turns up.
