Newb information.

Post by tiohn »

So with the sale going on, I finally broke down and bought WitP. I have to say that the tutorial included in the documentation is much better than most wargames ship with, but I'm itching for even more. I knew the game was extremely complex (although doesn't appear to be as complex as I expected), but I still need a leg up. Are there any really good beginner resources?

This forum IS the beginner's resource...

Go through the 'must read' thread and it will cover alot. Any questions you have, someone here can answer them.

Welcome aboard!

Spooky's fan site has some FAQ's and by the looks of it some tutorials and strategy stuff.

here :- http://mathubert.free.fr/

As already said , if in doubt pls feel free to ask.

As for complexity, its massively complex compared to the usual run of the mill wargame. although mostly in scale and not necessarily rules.

i.e Set CAP easy and obvious
group a CV TF .. no worries .

Where and what can or should i do with this ? now theres a 1000$ question. [;)]

Enjoy the game and be prepared to have your social life sucked away like dust up a dyson [:D]
sorry for the spelling . English is my main language , I just can't type . and i'm too lazy to edit :)
