Metro Football League - Season 2

Post by DreamTeams »

The MFL is back with season two action.

Week one results have been posted.

The champs made the spotlight.

Enjoy.

PS: It took some work to update my playbooks through game situations, but I've finally gotten the teams to really compete on the field. Overall the results are excellent as teams really compete to win now, especially in late game situations. It's amazing how good the field play can become by creating and tweaking game situations. I've seen many different outcomes and no two games are exactly alike. I'm seeing tight games, a few blowouts and even low scoring defensive struggles. I'm loving this game.

Man the Gotham Bulldogs are going to be tough but then it seems as every strong team gets either upsetted or barely wins so good job to the bulldogs way to go!

Newport Bay put the smackdown on the Dragons.

I hope it is just a bump in the road rather than a trend.

Go Dragons!

ACK!

A critical loss to the bottom feeders?  How did that happen?

Will eight teams make the playoffs this season?

Any given Sunday. Really though, quick-sim is somewhat unpredictable.

Only six teams make the playoffs. The top three finishers in each conference.

Week Eight results have been posted.

Things are tight. One misstep could jeopardize playoff or conference championship hopes for several teams.

The Dunberry loss to Cape City in week 5 looks like it will loom large.

If you use standarn NFL tie breakers, the Dragons may have to hope for a three way tie for the third slot.
