Want to play a Game?

Post by Vitreum »

Just into this fascinating game.
Used to play ASL.
This game comes darn close to it.
Played the Tutorials.
Played a few of the scenarios.
I was wondering if anyone actually plays by e-mail.
If so, anyone out there want to kick a newbie virgin butt?
Let me know. I have not read that part of the rules yet.

Welcome! I can't right now, but if you want to learn a little, and laugh alot, read some of the 'vs.' threads right here in the sub-forum. They are almost all PBEM games. Someone will fight you soon, I imagine!

I join Goblin in welcoming you to the forum.

I too am currently fighting a battle (my first...:D ) with Hellcat ( if you read the threads about the battles as Goblin suggested, you'll see that just about everyone is fighting Hellcat :) He's such a good sport! )

If you want to learn what army not to pick for your first battle, read my last thread in "Orzels First Fight"....it'll give you some very clear insight. ;)

When I finish this battle though I'll be glad to fire one up with you...if you aren't taken up on your offer by then, which I doubt. Right now I'm not talented enough to fight two battles and still have enough time to spend designing scenarios for a couple short campaigns I'm working on as well.

Should you get offers from Jess or Goblin...beware, they are natural born killers from what I've seen posted. :D :D :D However, I have to admit I'm looking forward to getting taught a lesson from them one day myself though! :D

Thanks people.
Mango breeder did offer to hand me my first kicking.
I will play him whilst the rest of you mop up.
I will read what I can in the forums on the e-mail head to heads.

Any particular 7.1 scenarios good for newbs 1st H-2-H, or do you guys usually go custom?

Thanks.

Custom works best, as you get to pick setting as you like as well as your own force. ;)
