Honda makes a mistake !

Post by Raverdave »

Honda today, made a rare mistake when he failed to post a CAP over Delhi, as was punished by the RAF and the USAAF. This mistake cost him well over 100 aircraft destroyed on the ground with no losses to allied bombers.

Psychologists, who were consulted, claim that such a mistake is the first sign of someone who is under intense mental pressure, and such mistakes will continue to accelerate until the individual is a blathering wreck.

Allied commanders intend to continue with the pressure in an effort to expose more “mistakes”.

Quite a lot is happening at the moment. At least compared to what was (not) happening in the last year or so. We have now 4 distinctive fronts formed. India, Australia, Kuriles and the Marshalls/Gilberts (quiet for now, but the contact has been made between the opposing forces, although just forced recon).

today...

AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 12/06/43

INDIA:
Raver continues his reign of terrorism aimed at civilian targets. Lahore is the target today:
Day Air attack on Lahore , at 28,6

Liberator VI x 121
P-40N Warhawk x 56
B-25J Mitchell x 37
B-24J Liberator x 45

Allied aircraft losses
Liberator VI: 4 damaged

Heavy Industry hits 5

AUSTRALIA:
With Melbourne and Geelong the first to fall into the hands of the enemy, all the reinforcements due while the occupation was on appeared in Melbourne.
With that new development, Raver has decided to utilise his TF38 that's been cruising off Sydney for a few days now. The target was Canberra:
Day Air attack on Canberra , at 34,125

Japanese aircraft
A6M5 Zeke x 16
Ki-43-IIa Oscar x 24

Allied aircraft
F6F Hellcat x 137
Hellcat II x 10
SBD Dauntless x 282
Barracuda x 12
TBF Avenger x 17
TBM Avenger x 165

Japanese aircraft losses
A6M5 Zeke: 20 destroyed
Ki-43-IIa Oscar: 28 destroyed
Ki-21 Sally: 12 destroyed

Allied aircraft losses
F6F Hellcat: 6 destroyed, 10 damaged
SBD Dauntless: 1 destroyed, 20 damaged
Barracuda: 1 damaged
TBF Avenger: 3 damaged
TBM Avenger: 13 damaged

Japanese ground losses:
426 casualties reported
Guns lost 11

Airbase hits 31
Airbase supply hits 11
Runway hits 243

Play of the day comes from one of those Sally sentais that got blasted on the ground in Camberra:
Ki-21 Sally has spotted Hornet at 35,128
Hornet is reported HIT

Foolish man.......why would you even bother trying to fly CAP out of canberra when I have  uber CV TF just off the coast?

The report of the hit on the Hornet was nothing more than the feverish dream of a jap pilot who was luck to get away with his life.  Radar had him for some time but the cloud cover defeated the CAP that was hunting him.   Hornet had some paint scrapped off the side of her hull, but not even 1 sys point of damage.

I now havbe troops flooding into Melbourne as I prepare to chase Honda's  Heros out of OZ.

You are too modest, I have taken 4 allies opponents, none survived to May to let british change their aircrafts. Defeat those allies exclusive guy is just as simple as crush AI, I suppose. If you don't take Japs, you are simply as incompetence as AI.[;)]
