9-player Diplomacy - Russia

Post by marcusm »

I started out with creating some new Army Groups. Apart from
peace missions to various countries not much happened.

If you don't count a little raid into Finland :).

The situation in southern Russia. (before moves etc).

Great to see GJK's graphic mod being used, and a nice bit of cut and paste Marcus.
Really looking forward to this aar [8D]

The perils of being an old boardgame geek ;). I just love clean and crisp boardgame graphics.
I hope to see the tileset GJK used for Guns of August in the future, if he has time over.

-Russian officials just returned from peace negotiations with Scandinavias representative.
-A formal alliance document has been signed with France. Russia now guarantees France independence.
-The Turkish Sultan returning from Moscow was seen with papers with some signatures, wild speculations has started.

The Russian Czar has decided to accept the Scandinavian peace off0er.
The command came too late to the bombers already sent to retaliate. Russian forces has
returned to positions on Russian soil.

Yes, clean, crisp boardgame graphics. This old geek likes them too.
I hope to see GJKs tile set from TOAW. That's still one of my all time favs.
Methinks GJK has a lot of work to do to make all our wishes come true [:D]

Additional forces were sent South West to aid the struggling Turks.
Quite contrary to the slander from Scandinavians, Russia stands up for his friends.

A Balcan envoy came to discuss peace terms. He met with an unfortunate accident.

Little happened. Most energy was spent on trying to repair the hopless logistical situation.
