What do you mean? In TOSv1.4 you can change the skill rank for each team seperately. I'm right aren't I? You'll have to know what each player's rank is though.

Let's see.........That means that you have no problem with Lyhrrus, Tarendylcymir and myself getting to take Champion jocks while PC could chose Ace, you Elite, and Larkin,Bernd and Icegrim Veterans. Works for me :p

Got to pilot a new design of mine for the 1st time My Rubbler (4HMs/2LL) beat Rosary's Hoodlum in the normal arena. Was a garbage game. My 3rd HM hit caused a 40 pt explosion in Rosary's right arm. He fought to the bitter end but it's hard to come back from that much bad luck so early in a game.

Played a team game with Rosary (MindFlayer) and Steel (Imolator) vs me in a Goon and the AI in a WidowMaker. The only thing that saved my sorry butt was that we were in polar
Rosary and Steel were never able to close up enough to be as devastating as that combination of titans should have been (hint: when playing with AI it's the leader and you have to follow it around like a puppy dog).

I'm not sure I like the Mindflayer. I think that 3 NB's is about 2 NB's to many.

To me NBs are like HMs you shoot and shoot and shoot and have no sense that you're doing any real damage and then a leg falls off and you go "dam!". I have killed a lot of pilots with that 3 NB combo and both Lyhrrus and Taren built designs based off of it. In Fact Taren had one design with 4. You have to get close and forget about the PBs and just keep blasting. If you give a pilot a chance to heal up then the NBs have done nothing for you. The only point of 3 NBs is to kill a jock.

ps: (all of my assault designs now have life 6 because of dueling with Lyhrrus and Taren).

[Raining Steel]

Before I forget!
Had a Duel against Firestorm in Recons I had a swiftdeath he had a Firesomthin (shrug) both Close combat mechs. I lucked out in getting to MG range before we saw each other and he started to unload his 2 Srm's I kept pluggin away with my MG's (had one unlucky bout with 8 50% Shots missing) Trying to close in to use my Axes and get the full use of the MG's. He moved up to a hill and was crouched when I came rushing in with a charge that failed horriably with me laying on the ground, Luckily he was crouched or I would have had a fist sandwich, I was able to stand up in time and thats when he started to heat me up with his Flame's. He lost a arm which saved me and kept me from going Deep Red or more which inturn I went all out my next attack going deep red and Stuffing my Axe right into his CT destroying it right out and igniting his engine which I was saved the blast from the Game Ending Screen. That was one of the Better duels we have had.
