Been playing SPWAW since the 1st version was released.

I upgrded to DVRN Enhanced about 3 weeks ago.

Great stuff!

Looking for an Enhanced DV** PBEM opponent.

Default settings for German vs. US Meeting Engagement would be good with C&C OFf. However, I'm flexible.

Could also do an on-line game most nights after 10:00 PM EST.

did you see over at the enhanced site, there are some guys who play online nightly

Krec has even posted here as well about it, altho i think they have an older version of Enhanced.

I appreciate the tip re: the online play. I'll look into it. It's been awhile since I've played on-line, so I'll have to brush up on the short-cut keys.

My guess is your modesty re: your rate of success is a bit suspect. [;)]

My settings are displayed below.

Let me know how many points you prefer. I often play the max. However, whatever is good for you is fine by me.

Also, which side you'd prefer. I've played the German side more often than not. However, I have plenty of experience playing the US side.

Let me know if you'd prefer to set it up or if you want me to. Again, either way is fine by me.

Lastlly restrictions on artillery aren't an issue for me. Although, believe it or not I actually keep "Fast Arty" off as I like to watch it. [8|]

Anything else, just let me know.

Yup. With lotsa points you need some maneuvering room.

If you'd prefer fewer points, that would be fine. Just give me a number you're comfortable with.

Also, what percentages do you want to use for Arty vs. Soft and Arty vs. Armor?

Sounds fine.

I'll need a bit of education on how the limits are achieved. I've read about them, but have not played a PBEM battle using them. I assume we adhere to them on the honor system or are you able to assign them during the set-up?

Since I am Player #1, I assume I'll need to do the set-up unless there is a means by which Player 2 can do the set-up which is unknown to me at this point.

Please advise.

yes you can set up
as far as the Limits, yes its the honor system, only spend 10% of your total points on artillery.
so 1000 points. Mortars and such that come attached to companies and platoons do not count toward that total.
Only buy 2 platoons of infiltraitors if you use them.

I got it earlier today.

Will work on deploying tonight. With any kind of luck, I'll have it back to your tomorrow.

I'd rather be lucky than good. However, in this game, in my experience it takes an ample amount of the latter coupled with a modicum of the former to prevail. [8D]
